N.B.: A minimum number of 4 gliders is required for the meeting to last an whole week, otherwise it will last for a long weekend.

LOCATION/ACCOMODATIONS
The airfield is not organized with a camping but there is a lot of free place.
It’s possible stay by tent or camper WITHOUT ANY FEE.
There are also many B&B available in the area.
FEE
The registration to the meeting is without any fee.
the club is only asking to keep compound clean 50€/plane for the whole period since there is not a regular service for it during the week.
Dinner prices at the field about 15/20€ person
Tow plane prices:
35 € at 600 m agl
45 € at 800 m agl
55 € at 1000 m agl
For outlandings (if possible): 3 € /minute if you want to be towed at home.
LOGISTIC SERVICES
1 compound with 2 showers and 3 WC.
1 compound with 1 showers and 1 WC.
BREAKFAST
Available on saturday and sunday in field. During the other days free.
LAUNCH
Not available in field.

Not available in field.
AIRCRAFT ACCOMMODATION
No hangar available.
Maximum number of participants(gliders)available: 10
It is possible to leave the aircraft mounted in the field.
BRIEFING
We will have every morning the briefing. Flying in the area is very easy and without great restrictions.
If someone is intentioned to make cross country flight we will give informations about.
An aeronautical map of the area will be distributed.

FLIGHT
No winch available.
Tow plane (mainly a Husky, sometimes maybe a Robin 400)
N.B.: The tow plane is available, the Club needs at least the presence of 4/5 gliders to tow.
Reference, Vittorio Borgo (who is glider instructor and also tow pilot) is a very skilled pilot and very fond of vintag gliders.
Saturday sunday and monday there will be assistance.
During the remaining working days there will be assistance in rotation.

FREE TIME
-This is not a full organized meeting.
-In the evening you will have a lot of time in order to visit places, retaurants, winery and more.
-We will give you indications for visiting places or restaurants and you will find many infos on the net.
-It is possible to park the trailer at the field in the indicated area even after or before the meeting period to continue the holidays.

1st NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF “THE PILOTS OF WOOD”
FERRARA (FE) 3-4-5 September 2021
Il gruppo “I Piloti del Legno” e l’Aeroclub Volovelistico Ferrarese (AVF), organizzano il I° Convegno Nazionale dei “I Piloti del Legno”che si svolgerà a Ferrara (FE) e sarà aperto a tutti gli appassionati della materia. I lavori si svolgeranno nei giorni 3-4-5 settembre 2021 presso l’aeroporto di Ferrara (ICAO: LIPF) in via Via M. Dotti s.n.c. – Ferrara.
La partecipazione è aperta a tutti i Piloti possessori di alianti che abbiano interesse storico e una struttura di legno, tela e/o metallo, la cui anzianità di progetto sia di almeno 40 anni.
The group “I Piloti del Legno” and the Aeroclub Volovelistico Ferrarese (AVF), organize the 1st National Conference of “I Piloti del Legno” which will take place in Ferrara (FE) and will be open to all lovers of the matter. The works will take place on 3-4-5 September 2021 at the Ferrara airport (ICAO: LIPF) in Via M. Dotti s.n.c. – Ferrara.
Participation is open to all pilots who own gliders who have historical interest and a structure of wood, canvas and / or metal, whose seniority of the project is at least 40 years.
PARTECIPAZIONE AL CONVEGNO
Per richiedere di partecipare al Convegno inviate un messaggio di adesione dalla pagina contatti
indicando il numero di persone che intendono partecipare entro il 15 agosto 2021.
Nella domanda dovranno essere indicate:
- le generalità (cognome, nome, indirizzo, numero di telefono, indirizzo e-mail)
- eventuali accompagnatori
- Se pilota, non pilota o ex pilota.
- tipo di aeromobile con il quale intende partecipare e relative marche.
- l’eventuale Aeroclub di appartenenza.
Non è prevista quota di iscrizione. I partecipanti dovranno sostenere in proprio le spese vive di viaggio, permanenza e di volo.
Logistica e sistemazione alberghiera
Le sistemazioni alberghiere sono libere e a carico dei partecipanti.
All’intero dell’aeroporto è presente un’area campeggio attrezzata al costo di €5,00 a notte a persona.
Durante i lavori, i pranzi e le cene saranno liberi ad esclusione della cena del Gruppo che si terrà sabato sera presso la Trattoria “Il Gusto del Volo” sita all’interno dell’aeroporto (per motivi organizzativi si richiede prenotazione con invio di adesione e numero di partecipanti alla
pagina contatti )
La partecipazione a questa cena non è obbligatoria ma consigliata quale prima occasione per conoscersi di persona.
CONFERENCE ATTENDING
To request to participate in the Conference, send a registration message from the contact page
indicating the number of people who intend to participate by August 15, 2021.
The application must indicate:
- Personal details (surname, first name, address, telephone number, e-mail address)
- Any accompanying persons
- If you are a pilot, non-pilot or former pilot.
- Type of aircraft with which it intends to participate and related brands.
- Any Aeroclub to which it belongs.
There is no registration fee. Participants will have to bear the out-of-pocket travel, stay and flight expenses on their own.
Logistics and hotel accommodation
Hotel accommodations are free and paid for by the participants.
Throughout the airport there is an equipped camping area at a cost of € 5.00 per night per person.
During the works, lunches and dinners will be free except for the dinner of the Group which will be held on Saturday evening at the Trattoria “Il Gusto del Volo” located inside the airport number of participants in the
contact page)
Participation in this dinner is not mandatory but recommended as the first opportunity to get to know each other in person.

INFORMAZIONI OPERATIVE
- Saranno a disposizione i traini dell’Aeroclub tra i quali uno Stinson L5.
- Costo del traino a quota di sgancio 600m: € 58,00
- Non è disponibile il verricello.
- I bollini potranno essere acquistati presso la segreteria dell’Aeroclub Volovelistico Ferrarese, nella Club House dell’aeroporto. I costi di traino sono a carico dei partecipanti.
NOTE:
- In caso di meteo avversa Il Convegno verrà rimandato con le medesime modalità in data da destinarsi.
- In caso di impossibilità di svolgimento causa pandemia covid-19 il Convegno verrà rimandato a data da destinarsi.
- Ogni pilota sarà responsabile del proprio operato e condotta. Le dotazioni di volo dovranno essere personali, a discrezione e a carico di ognuno secondo la normativa vigente.
- Eventuali accordi tra piloti e passeggeri per voli su aerei biposto saranno privati e a libera scelta tra gli equipaggi.
- Per poter volare si dovrà sottostare alla normativa nazionale vigente in corso.
- Sarà obbligatorio il rispetto delle regole vigenti dell’Aeroclub e Aeroporto ospitante che verranno illustrate durante i briefing.

OPERATIONAL INFORMATION
- The tows of the Aeroclub will be available, including a Stinson L5.
- Cost of towing at 600m release altitude: € 58.00
- The winch is not available.
- The badges can be purchased at the Secretariat of the Aeroclub Volovelistico Ferrarese, in the Club House of the airport. Towing costs are borne by the participants.
NOTE:
- In case of adverse weather, the conference will be postponed in the same way on a date to be decided.
- In case of impossibility to take place due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Conference will be postponed to a later date.
- Each pilot will be responsible for his own work and conduct. The flight equipment must be personal, at the discretion and at the expense of everyone according to current legislation.
- Any agreements between pilots and passengers for flights on two-seater aircraft will be private and freely chosen by the crews.
- In order to fly you will have to comply with current national legislation.
- Compliance with the rules in force of the Aeroclub and host airport will be mandatory and will be illustrated during the briefings.
